Jayaboard introduces Jayabell Echostop™ at ARCH:ID 2023

ICE BSD, 16 March 2023 – Collaborating with two well-known architects in Indonesia, andramatin and K-Thengono Design Studio, Jayaboard® introducing acoustic gypsum board, Jayabell Echostop™.

The WOW NEIGHBORS collaboration between Jayaboard and BYO Living continues in ARCH:ID 2023, this time Jayaboard were partnering up with andramatin who has a longstanding relationship with Jayaboard, previously Jayaboard and andramatin collaborating in Sakola Tukang program to improve the quality of human resources in construction sector, at WOW NEIGHBORS 2023 exhibition, Jayaboard and andramatin built A READING OASIS installation with the same message, encouraging visitors' interest in reading to broaden their knowledge of architecture through several books that have been curated by andramatin. This installation, which was also the winner of BEST BOOTH ARCH:ID 2023, represents the harmony of a collaboration, shown through Jayabell Echostop™ acoustic gypsum board paired in harmony with different materials, the perforation holes on the surface of Jayabell Echostop™ were modified and combined with woven techniques to become an aesthetic and inspirational installation. 

Jayaboard product and system is designed to answer the growing needs and challenges in society. One of the perks of using Jayaboard system is design flexibility, the partition system does not depend on the structure so that architects can freely explore and implement their design imagination, this was shown through K-Thengono Design Studio installation named “FRAMEWORK”, where Jayabell Echostop™ acoustic gypsum board ™ used as a partition. This installation re-introduces the idea of social interaction by creating a flexible system that allows limitless spatial configurations to take place.

Jayabell Echostop™ acoustic gypsum board used in these two installations is a perforated gypsum board with acoustic tissue specially designed for optimal sound absorption.
